KAWANK — DATA DELETION INSTRUCTIONS

KAWANK gives you full control over your data. You can delete your account and associated personal data at any time using the steps below.

Option 1Delete Your Account from the App (Recommended)

You can permanently delete your account directly from the Kawank app:

  1. 1Open the Kawank app
  2. 2Go to Profile
  3. 3Tap Settings
  4. 4Select Account
  5. 5Tap Delete Account
  6. 6Confirm your request

Once confirmed, your account deletion request will be processed.

What Happens After You Delete Your Account

When you delete your account:

  • Your profile information (name, email, phone number) will be deleted
  • Your ride history and location data will be deleted
  • Your emergency contact information will be removed
  • Your uploaded content (photos, posts, routes) will be deleted or anonymized
  • You will no longer be able to access your account

Data Retention Timeline

  • Most personal data is deleted within 7 days of your request
  • Backup systems may retain data for up to 30 days before permanent deletion
  • Certain minimal data may be retained if required for legal, security, or fraud prevention purposes

Important Notes

  • Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone
  • You will need to create a new account if you wish to use Kawank again
  • Some anonymized data may be retained for analytics and service improvement

Option 2Request Deletion via Email

If you are unable to access the app, you can request account deletion by contacting us.

Include the following details:

  • Your registered email address
  • Your phone number (if linked to the account)
  • Subject line: “Account Deletion Request”

We may verify your identity before processing the request to protect your account.

Processing Time

  • Requests are typically processed within 5–7 business days
  • You will receive confirmation once your account and data have been deleted
